Saturday Camp Site Dinner

Every year since the beginning of Blade Havasu, my good friend Adrian has spent countless hours behind the grill, with the help of his wife Kandace and fellow bladers, he always has everyone’s mouth watering for some amazing carne asada and chicken tacos, chips, and salsa. He’s been known to get wild with the grill and make some amazing food. Feel to post up on the Event Page if you want to bring a dish, utensils, plates, etc.

As tradition, this meal is entirely free of charge!. It is not expected, however I greatly encourage tipping this man for the hours he spends behind the grill.

Camping

A lot of the attendees come camp out in the desert just north of town, on BLM land. We have a blast sharing stories, eating great food on Saturday night, and whatever random adventures you want to get into.

It can get a little cold out in the desert, so be sure to pack some layers, and warm clothes.

Please be sure to bring extra trash bags, as we want to leave the camp site as clean, or cleaner than we found it.

For fire wood, you can purchase bundles at one of the gas stations in town on the way to the camp site. You cannot cut any trees or bushes down on BLM land. Have extra water and/or a shovel to put any fires out when done.

We will try to camp at one of the two markers on the map. Keep an eye on the event page and group for official camp spot. You are more than welcome to setup camp elsewhere and join the group at your leisure.

Hotels

Camping isn’t for everyone, I get that. There are many hotels near the skate park. Click the link below for a list of hotels nearby.
